OUR STORY
Paitin’s distinctiveness resides in the expression of this rooted relation that our family – Pasquero-Elia – has established within these lands. Resisting wars and severe weather, through 8 generations, we grown an everlasting bond.
Perseverance blessed the Grand Cru vineyard (MGA) of Serraboella: the Sorì Paitin, since 1893 to become one of the traditional expressions of Neive’s Barbaresco.

THE DISTINCTIVENESS OF SERRABOELLA AND THE LANGHE
Serraboella of Neive originates wines with a unique expression: dark and vibrant, profound and long running, tense and elegant. These are the results from the fresh summer night winds, that daily opposes the heat that accumulates in the steep valley of white calcareous marl in a South-West exposure.
Our Barbaresco comes from these great lands. It therefore essential an ethical perspective. Respecting what has been, what is and what will be. To preserve its uniqueness.

A TRADITIONAL INTERPRETATION OF BARBARESCO
The unparalleled art is the one in which the form transcends the content; wine is the art that expresses the “terroir” at its best.
Our art is dictated by the traditional piedmontese vinification techniques, which is rooted in our secular knowledge and in the value of patience: long waiting for maceration and aging. The Great Vineyards or Cru of Barbaresco and Barolo are translated as such: an interpretation of a soil through ages of experience. Of devotion and sensation that are embedded in the head and in the hands of some families, that live and breathe our lands.
