Wine-making: Fermentations and macerations take place in vertical tanks, for 15 up to 20 days. Traditionally with the "remontage" technique.

Fining take place in Slavonian oak "botti" for 18 months.
Soil: Soil: Silty-Loam (Inceptisuoli, Entisuoli of mixed texture, fine and gross)
Substrate: Formazioni di Lequio (Layers of marl - middle Miocene)
Surface: 0.9 Hectares

In the steepest, sandier and warmer part of Serraboella, one century ago there was olive trees, now only the name survived along the generations and some old roots can recall that moment.  In this area the Barbera has a unique expression for roundness, deepness and aging ability.

 

Lavender, mint, plum, violet and dark spice add considerable nuance throughout.
