|Wine-making:||Fermentations and macerations take place in vertical tanks, for 30 up to 35 days. Through the traditional Piedmontese technique of "steccatura" either called "submerged cap".
Fining take place in big Slavonian oak "botti" for 12 months.

Substrate: Formazioni di Lequio (Layers of marl - middle Miocene)
Dark, scorched earth, licorice, smoke and menthol flavors that give the wine much of its brooding, muscular, virile personality.
In the Starda region, we grow the alter ego of our Barbaresco. Less warmer spot and younger vines give birth to much delicate and approachable wines. A Nebbiolo that sweeten the wait and anticipate the style of the Barbaresco.
